I've read a review "The parade of the moral monsters". I'm sure that a man who wrote this review did not understand the main idea of this book. He did not understand why Heathcliff became so cruel and saw only negative features in his character. And also he decided that all line of love was assumed. May it was so, but it just a literature hook and without it we would not see whole scene of despair, hate, revenge. We would not see the real life without its traditional " happy end". And, in the same time, this love was the last thing which could have our poor characters. And this love make them to be people , not moral monsters.
Masha,
ReplyDeleteYou should use phrases of agreement/ disagreement. Then, you should give the link to the review annd use some quotes from it.
Language usage:
all line> all the lines
may it was> maybe it was
whole scene> the whole
in the same time> at the same time
And this love make them to be people , not moral monsters.> made them be (tense, bare infinitive)
I can agree with you, Masha. I've read your book so i decided also to read this review. And i can say that the only problem of that reader is that he didn't want to read deeper. So that's why so many missunderstanding became between author and him.
