First of all, I'd like to say about what we need to do to be a good readers.
If we want to get some pleasure from reading they must have easy-to-use format of text. For example, I like to read either new or old books but they must be in printed format. In the same time another people prefer to read from computer or electronic book. Then, after using the format,it may be useful to read some information about the author and the country where he live. It helps to understand some facts and behavior of the characters. But it will not be very good to read some review BEFORE reading the book, because it may put out from your own thoughts.
And only after that we could begin to read the book. We should read slowly, thinking over the events and main ideas of book. Book must not be read for one night. And after that we must consult some literary critics and agree or disagree with them.
As for me, in this term I can get pleasure from slowly reading and it was really great especially after reading this book in Russian for one night. I can compare my impressions from the first and the second reading. After the first one I feel the avalanche of emotions which were unforgivable. But many of details and subtleties slipped away from me.But it was something like flash in my imagination. And when I took this book in English and became to read it gradually I began understand the actions of the characters better. Moreover, I extended my pleasure from reading the book I had more time to think over the main idea of the book.
And also, I began to feel that It became easier to write in English for me.

I am glad the blog helped you to feel more confident in writing in English but I would advice you to proofread more carefully before publishing (especially articles, tenses, collocations)

Masha,I really like your blog. Its style is very interesting and reminds me about something magic and mystic. I read this book in Russian too. Suppose, it was very hard to read it in English. But you have done it! I see that your vocabulary is various, but we all should work on it harder. And I believe that the fact, that you had already known the main idea, helped you very much with reading this very difficult book. I am proud of you!
